Individual art therapy
One-to-one art therapy to meet you where you are, and help you move to where you want to go. We offer a empathic and empowering space to safely explore and work through emotional struggles, relationship difficulties, setbacks to goals and dreams, and other life challenges.
Sessions are collaborative, trauma-informed, and whole-person focused, engaging in the creative process of meaning making to discover insights and strategies for navigating real-world complexities. We are committed to walking with you through life’s messy moments, so lasting change can happen and you can emerge stronger on the other side.
This service is available to adolescents and adults. We support private clients, clients with NDIS funding (self or plan managed), and Victims of Crime clients with Financial Assistance Scheme funding (FAS; formerly VOCAT).

Art therapy is a gentle yet powerful therapeutic mode that can benefit anyone willing to embrace the creative process. It can be an effective form of psychotherapy for those who find it challenging to verbalise their experiences, who do not enjoy talking, and/or for whom traditional talk therapies have not been helpful.
-
Not at all - you don’t need to have any artistic skills or prior experience to benefit from art therapy. We believe that healing comes from the therapeutic act of creating alongside a qualified Arts Therapist, not from the outcome or technical aspects of the final artworks themselves.
There is also immense value in approaching sessions with a beginner’s mind, setting aside any preconceived notions of what art needs to be and how it should look like, so that the creative process can truly reflect your experience and the wisdom it holds.
Sessions will adapt to meet your needs and comfort level, and may encourage working with different materials to help you access your authentically felt lived experience. We may explore drawing, painting, collaging, music, or working with a combination of creative modalities that hold your curiosity.

You will need a stable internet connection and charged device (with camera, mic, and speaker functionality) to access your secure telehealth link. Please attend your session in a private and quiet space away from distractions, and have some basic art materials ready (e.g., colouring pencils, pastels, paper). We can work with what you have on hand and can also provide a list of suggested materials ahead of time if you’d like.Outreach sessions:
We’ll bring a variety of materials to support our work together, but if there are any items you’d like to incorporate, you’d be more than welcome to do so. Sessions require a private, distraction-free space in your home with a table you’d be happy to use for art-making. -
